For future planning we encourage you to have your child on our pre-enrol list as early as possible.

Out of Zone:
Sefton School is under an enrolment scheme that governs eligibility to enrol at Sefton School.
The Board of Trustees is also able to accept a limited number of pupils who live outside the zone.
The Board  will determine if they have any out of zone placements, and at what levels for the following year. These will be advertised in the local newspaper with application details generally around September each year.
If you are wanting your child to attend Sefton School please ensure you have an enrolment form and a letter of application to the principal before the deadline.
Applications from out of zone students will be processed in the following order of priority: If we have more applicants than spaces available a ballot will be required.
  • First priority will be given to students who have been accepted for enrolment in an approved special programme. (This priority category is not applicable at Sefton School.)
  • Second priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.
  • Third priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
  • Fourth priority will be given to applicants who are children of former students
  • Fifth priority will be given to applicants who are children of board employees.
  • Sixth priority will be given to all other applicants.
